2010 South Dakota Season Outlook:

Coming off of a spectacular 2009 pheasant hunting season, the spring conditions across the state have been excellent and have brought on a fabulous spring pheasant hatch. With the abundance of adult birds that were remaining from last fall our 2010 guided hunts for the South Dakota upland bird hunting season should be awesome!.

Looking at the upcoming 2010 South Dakota waterfowl hunting season, with the abundance of moisture from this spring most of the potholes across the prairie pothole region are plum full. The spring hatch for both area puddle ducks and Canada geese in the state has been excellent as well. This should be one of the best pheasant and duck hunting seasons that the state of South Dakota has seen in years! We are excited that our 2010 guided pheasant hunts and guided duck hunts in South Dakota will be phenominal!

Our limited Do-It-Yourself hunt can be arranged only after owner Dave Ciani has hunted with the client. This is done so Dave can feel comfortable that the client’s level of familiarity with the land and species hunted, which will ensure the safety of the client.
